Exufiber is a gelling fibre dressing

Exufiber is a gelling fibre dressing intended to be used on a wide range of wounds with moderate to high amounts of wound fluid such as leg and foot ulcers, pressure injuries, partial-thickness burns, surgical wounds or donor sites.

Use on a wide range of wounds for management of moderate to high amounts of wound fluid. Exufiber forms a gel when in contact with wound fluid and is intended to be used on the following wounds with moderate to high amounts of fluid.

Clinically Designed For:

• Leg and foot ulcers
• Pressure ulcers
• Partial thickness burns
• Surgical wounds
• Donor sites

Exufiber can be used by lay persons under supervision of Healthcare Professionals. If you are concerned about your wound, please contact your Healthcare Professional.

Precautions:

• Do not use on patients with known hypersensitivity to the dressing or its materials.
• Should infection develop during the use of the dressing, medical treatment should be initiated according to local clinical protocols. Infection is not a contraindication to the use of Exufiber dressing.
• Exufiber is not intended for dry wounds or full thickness burns.
• Exufiber is for single-use only and should not be re-used. Re-use may lead to product deterioration or cross contamination may occur.
• Do not use if inner package is damaged or opened prior to use. Do not re-sterilise.
