• Durafiber is a highly absorbent non woven gelling fiber dressing which is designed to provide clinicians with a versatile solution for managing medium to highly exuding wounds.
• Composed from a unique new dressing technology, Durafiber forms a soft cohesive gel on contact with wound exudate which rapidly absorbs and locks in excess fluid and any harmful bacteria it may contain.
• Durafiber effectively controls the lateral spread of fluid so minimising the risk of peri-wound maceration and contours intimately to the wound bed thereby helping to maintain a moist wound environment and reducing the potential for dead space.
• Durafiber also provides excellent fluid management, easy one piece dressing removal from the wound, and minimal dressing shrinkage, thanks to its high structural integrity and gelled strength.
