Chlorhexidine concentrate solution for skin antisepsis

Features:

• Topical antiseptic concentrate with 5% chlorhexidine

Instructions:

Concentrate must be diluted prior to use.
Dilution: Add 100mL of concentrate to 150mL of distilled water and make up to 1L with ethanol (96%).

For pre and post-operative skin preparation, and umbilical cord disinfection
Dilute as above. Wet swab and apply to area to be disinfected and leave for 2 minutes. Allow to dry.

Antiseptic solutions should be freshly prepared and discarded after use.

Solutions are not suitable for opthalmic, bladder, peritoneal or surgeon’s dop bowl usage. Microshield  5 Chlorhexidine Concentrate must not come into contact with brain, meninges, middle ear, or syringes and needles to be used for spinal injections.

• For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with water.
• Mild irritation may occur, stop use if it becomes severe.
• Do not mix with detergents or other chemicals except ethanol as indicated.
