Askina Scar Repair is a thin, flexible, comfortable soft silicone dressing for scar management. The dressing can be used as soon as a wound is closed to aid in scar prevention, it can also be applied to a scar that has already formed. Its soft backing is selected for comfort and protection, even under clothing. It may also be worn under compression garments.

It also can be used for the treatment of already formed hypertrophic and keloid scars (C-sections, tummy tucks, injuries, burns, surgeries, etc.) to help with scar reduction.

Askina Scar Repair is a repositionable, waterproof dressing that can be worn continuously for 24 hours and removed once a day when showering or bathing to inspect and wash the skin. It also provides UV protection.

Silicone adhesive allows a painless removal of the dressing, and the same dressing can be used for 3 to 7 days.
