24/7 CustomerSupport- A dark, yellow-brown spirituous liquid containing Iodine 0.5% w/v or 1% w/v in Ethanol 70% v/v.
- Iodine has potent bactericidal activity and is coupled with the bactericidal activity of alcohol in this formulation.
- For use as pre-operative treatment of unbroken skin.
- Decant required volume into a sterile container. Apply undiluted to pre-cleaned site using a sterile applicator. Leave for 2-5minutes prior to incision. Discard unused portion.
- Hypersensitivity to lodine preparations.
- Do not swallow. Not to be taken. Solutions containing lodine applied to the skin should not be covered with occlusive dressings. If skin irritation or rash occurs, discontinue use immediately.
- Flammable liquid. Do not use near a flame.
