Transparent, flexible film for wound visibility and protection

Mepore Film is a thin, transparent film dressing that acts as a waterproof barrier while allowing monitoring of the wound underneath.

Mepore Film can be used by lay persons under supervision of Healthcare Professionals. If you are concerned about your wound, please contact your Healthcare Professional.

Precautions:

Do not use Mepore Film on patient with known hypersensitivity to acrylic adhesives or other materials/components of the product. Take extra care when applying on fragile skin. Use on fragile skin may cause skin irritation.

Do not stretch the dressing when applying. Applying under tension may cause blisters.

Mepore Film should not replace sutures or other primary wound closure methods.

If you see signs of infection e.g. fever or the wound or surrounding skin becoming red, warm or swollen, consult a health care professional for appropriate treatment.

Do not reuse. If reused performance of the product may deteriorate, cross contamination may occur.

Sterile. Do not use if sterile barrier is damaged or opened prior to use. Do not re-sterilise.
