Whiteley Matrix Biofilm Removing Detergent Wipes Flat Pack

Matrix is a non enzymatic detergent and biofilm remover. It was specifically designed for use in Endoscopy, Central Sterilizing Departments and Dental Practices. Matrix has been demonstrated to remove conventional biological soils and bacterial biofilms, and as such is a breakthrough in validated cleaning protocols. Traditional cleaning solutions, most notably enzymatic detergent cleaners, have been demonstrated to be ineffective against bacterial biofilm soiling. Disease causing organisms have been proven to be transferred when protected within biofilms on improperly cleaned Medical Devices. Cleaning of Medical Devices has been identified as the critical first step in any effective instrument reprocessing system.

• Contain Matrix biofilm removing solution (a formulation of surfactants specifically designed for removing biological soils and biofilms).
• Apertured wipes to ensure sufficient density for removing gross organic soiling.
• Conveniently packaged (with an optional wall bracket available).

The process of cleaning ultrasound probes after both non-invasive and semi invasive (intracavity) procedures is crucial. In order to avoid cross contamination Ultrasound probes must be thoroughly cleaned after every use. For semi-invasive/intra-cavity procedures, probes can be high level disinfected using OPAL after pre-cleaning with Matrix Wipes.
