Ugo Pro Catheterisation Procedure Pack

Ugo Pro is the ultimate catheterisation procedure pack. Developed with clinician input, Ugo Pro provides everything needed to support best practice insertion and removal of urethral catheters in the community setting. Each pack contains a pre-wrapped aseptic field and the essential routine components required to carry out the procedure, helping to minimise the risk of infection.

Pack Includes: 

• 1 x outer wrapper designed for wrapping the sterile products and providing an aseptic field for the components to be placed upon.
• 1x disposable apron assisting in aseptic technique and providing personal protection.
• 1x waste bag designed for collecting all waste during the procedure and lowering plastic waste.
• 1x grey waterproof drape which is put under the patient with absorbent side up and grey side facing down, designed for protecting the bed from split fluids during the procedure and assisting with aseptic technique.
• 1x blue waterproof “O” drape which is put under the patient with absorbent side up and blue side facing down, designed for assisting with dignity during the procedure and with aseptic technique.
• 1x 10ml empty syringe which is used prior to catheter removal in order to remove fluid from pre filled catheter balloon.
• 6x non-woven swabs helping with removing Foley catheter and general catheterization procedural technique.
• 5x non-woven balls used in order to cleanse the catheter insertion site.
• 1x 20ml saline cleansing pod (0.9% w/v sodium chloride) used for cleansing the catheter insertion site.
• 1x clear tray with 2 compartments designed for holding components during the procedure.
• 3x pairs of medium nitrile Ugo Pro gloves used for catheter removal, cleaning the catheter insertion site and insertion of a new catheter.

Contraindications: Do not use the Ugo Pro (catheterisation procedure pack) if the intended user or the patient
are sensitive or allergic to any of the device ingredients.

• The Ugo Pro should be used by a healthcare professional in accordance with local policies and procedures.
• Single use; sterile until open.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Ensure that any additional medical devices placed on the aseptic field are sterile.

Saline Pod Warnings:

• For irrigation only;
• Not for injection;
• Do not use unless the solution is clear, and the unit is intact;
• Discard any unused product;
• Do not re-use.
