Tubigrip provides lasting, effective support for the treatment of strains and sprains, soft tissue injuries, general oedema, post-burn scarring and ribcage injuries. It can also be used for pressure dressings, and provides complete freedom of movement for the patient.

The product provides consistent and even compression (5-30 mm Hg sub-bandage pressure under a double layer). Tubigrip provides more consistent pressure levels across a wide range of limb circumferences compared to latex free elasticated tubular bandages.

Fitting is quick and easy, and unlike conventional crepe bandages, Tubigrip stays securely in position without pins or tapes. As it can be washed and reused, Tubigrip is particularly useful for outpatients and in the community. Tubigrip is cost-effective, as only the required amount is cut from the roll.

How to apply: 

1. Cut Tubigrip to twice the length required for limb, allowing an extra 2–3 cm for overlap.
2. Pull Tubigrip onto limb like a stocking.
3. Double Tubigrip back over limb. Ensure upper edge is 2–3 cm higher up the limb than the first layer.

When to use: Tubigrip provides firm support in the management of strains, sprains, and swelling.
