This configuration has a thicker PolyMem pad and high MVTR film for greater fluid handling capability. MAX dressings are for wounds with heavier drainage or when longer wear time is desired. Use as a combined primary and secondary dressing or as a secondary dressing.

PolyMem wound dressings consist of a polyurethane matrix containing surfactant, glycerin, and superabsorbent co-polymer. All dressings, except for the WIC cavity dressings, have a semi-permeable outer layer.
