Nepro HP 220ml Resealable Plastic Bottle

Nepro HP is a 1.8kcal/ml, energy-dense, oral nutritional supplement and tube feed, for use as a sole source of nutrition or as a nutritional supplement for patients with;

• Chronic or acute kidney disease patients who are on hemodialysis or continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD).
• Cirrhosis
• Those with other conditions require a high-energy, low electrolyte, low-volume enteral feed.

In a study of NEPRO as supplemental nutrition, patients on dialysis had:

• Increased serum albumin.
• Increased serum prealbumin.
• Improved nutritional status (as signed by SGA [subjective global assessment]).

Nepro HP has a CARBSTEADY carbohydrate blend designed to help manage blood glucose response. This is due to the presence of fibersol, a slowly digested, low glycemic carbohydrate. It is also enriched with a prebiotic FOS. Prebiotics may help support the management of uremia. Nepro HP RPB is available in a 220ml resealable plastic bottle, which comes in strawberry and vanilla flavours, and attaches directly to Abbott Nutrition giving sets.
