It’s strong on effectiveness and big on skin care making it the ideal addition to any setting where surgical hand preparation or hand hygiene is a requirement. Microshield Antiseptic Hand Rub is intended for surgical hand disinfection and hygienic hand disinfection.

Instructions:

Before using Microshield Antiseptic Hand Rub, ensure hands are clean. If dirty or soiled, wash hands with soap and water, ensuring subungual areas of both hands are also cleaned. Thoroughly dry hands before use to prevent dilution of product.

Surgical hand disinfection: Rub 4mL of undiluted Microshield Antiseptic Hand Rub Solution to clean dry hands and lower arms for 30 seconds. Repeat two more times ensuring the skin is kept wet for a total of 90 seconds. Allow hands to completely air dry before donning gloves.

Hygienic hand disinfection: Rub 3mL of undiluted Microshield Antiseptic Hand Rub on clean dry hands for 30 seconds. Ensure hands remain wet for the entire application time. Allow hands to air dry.

Product Data:

• 100g of solution contains the following active ingredients (v/v): 75 % isopropanol, 10 % ethanol

Special Advice:

Always read the label and use only as directed.

• For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes.
• In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with water.
• Discontinue use if skin irritation or redness develop.
• Do not use after the expiry date.
