Mesalt is an absorbent wound dressing impregnated with sodium chloride.

• Cleansing of wounds with moderate to high wound fluid, such as superficial or cavity wounds.

Mesalt can be used by lay persons under supervision of Healthcare Professionals. If you are concerned about your wound, please contact your Healthcare Professional.

Precautions:

• Do not use Mesalt on patient and/or user with known hypersensitivity to the materials/components of the product.
• Mesalt should not be used on dry wounds.
• Mesalt should not be allowed to come into direct contact with exposed bone or tendon.
• Infected wounds should be evaluated on a regular basis and treated appropriately.
