Safsite features a closed silicone diaphragm that checks flow until mechanically opened with a luer device. It allows for bi-directional flow of up to 400 mL/min upon actuation.
Safsite is designed for use with luer lock and luer slip connectors. One small push ensures a firm connection also with luer slip syringes. Its design ensures a low priming volume of 0.12mL and a pressure rating of 45 Psi.
