KetoCal 4:1 is a food for special medical purposes for the dietary management of intractable epilepsy.

For use under medical supervision only, Ketocal 4:1 is a nutritionally complete infant powder formulated to provide the 4:1 ketogenic ratio from age 1.

It provides complete nutritional support or supplementary feeding from 1 to 10 years of age, and may be used for supplementary feeding over the age of 10. Available in unflavoured and vanilla variants. Suitable to be used for enteral feeding.

Directions for Use:

• Measure the required amount of warm water into a sealable container. To completely dissolve the powder, the water
  must be at a temperature of 113°F-122°F.
• Recommended water temperature is necessary for the best results. Measure
  the temperature using a thermometer.
• Add the prescribed amount of KetoCal powder to the water.
• Whisk or cover and shake vigorously until the powder has dissolved. Remove the lid carefully.
• Fresh formula is best. For larger volumes, once prepared, store formula in refrigerator for no more than 24 hours.
  Once feeding begins, use within one hour.
• Shake or stir immediately before serving. For oral feeding, KetoCal is best served chilled.

Storage:

• Store unopened cans in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight.
• Once opened, replace the lid on the can and use within one month.
