The sterile, single-use, coated foam dressing with a gas-permeable, waterproof and bacteria-resistant outer layer of polyurethane.

This version features an adhesive border that is coated with polyacrylate adhesive. Thus, no secondary dressing is required for fixation. HydroTac Comfort offers an additional acrylic adhesive border, providing an all-in-one dressing for waterproof protection of the wound.

The wound-facing surface of the dressing has a mesh structure and is impregnated with a hydrogel that acts as a moisture reservoir. The gel consists of a hydrated polyurea/polyurethane hybrid polymer containing propylene glycol. The gel on the side of the wound-contact layer prevents the dressing from sticking to the wound. It enables an atraumatic dressing change.
