Epicyn Silicone Gel contains guideline-recommended, medical-grade silicone gel in combination with super-oxidised hypochlorous acid that has clinically demonstrated anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and antimicrobial results to further improve healing and scar characteristics vs pure silicone alone.

The semi-permeable layer limits water loss while still allowing oxygen transfer. Silicone use creates near-optimal conditions of hydration, temperature insulation, and a physical barrier from infection.

This facilitates a balanced state of fibrogenesis, regulation of fibroblast production, and a reduction in collagen, resulting in a softer, flatter, and cosmetically desirable scar.

Features:

• Clean the affected area.
• Cover the affected skin with a thin layer of Epicyn scar gel and massage it in gently.
• Allow the silicone hydrogel to air dry.
• Repeat 3 times daily for best results. (Once set, Epicyn scar gel can be covered with cosmetics, sunscreen, or pressure garments.)
• Epicyn Silicone Gel can be used with sutures in situ or for existing hypertrophic and keloid scars.
