Cuticell Soft Silicone Wound Contact Layer Sterile 5×7.5cm

Cuticell Contact is a primary wound contact layer consisting of an elastic and transparent polyurethane film coated with soft silicone. Cuticell Contact is designed to adhere to the surrounding skin but not to the moist wound bed and to allow exudate to pass through into an outer absorbent dressing. Cuticell Contact is highly conformable with two-way stretch.

Indications:

Cuticell Contact is indicated for acute and chronic wounds such as:

• Leg and pressure ulcers, surgical incisions, blistering, partial thickness burns, skin graft donor sites, lacerations, abrasions, skin tears. Cuticell Contact may be used as a wound contact layer in conjunction with Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT).

Contraindications: Do not use on patients with a known sensitivity to any of the product components.

Warnings and precautions: Cuticell Contact is packaged for single use. Do not re-use or re-sterilize as this is a risk of transmission of body fluids or contaminated tissue between patients. Do not use if pouch is open or damaged. Discard open or unused material of the device. The wound should be inspected for signs of infection and -in case-treated according to clinical practice.
